The libraries have been designed to improve performance for a number of frequently used functions.

•    Intel Integrated Performance Primitives Library (Intel IPP) includes routines you can use for image processing, computer vision, data compression, signal processing and cryptography. The library is available for Linux, OS X and Windows.

•    Intel Math Kernel Library (Intel MKL) has been hand optimised to accelerate math processing routines, including highly vectorised and threaded linear algebra, fast fourier transforms, vector maths and statistics functions. If you’re using BLAS or LAPACK functionality, you can relink with Intel MKL to improve performance on Intel and compatible architectures with the minimum of fuss.

•    Intel Data Analytics Acceleration Library (Intel DAAL) can be used for offline, streaming and distributed analytics applications and is designed to be used with Hadoop, Spark, R, Matlab and other popular data platforms. It covers all stages of data processing, and works for offline, streaming and distributed analytics.
