Geist has been busy generating momentum in London recently.
The company hosted its annual London event at the Leadenhall building at the end of October with the theme of ‘flexibility within uncertainty’. Presenters from Geist and guest speakers from JLL and Siemens provided attendees with a wealth of information on the state of the data centre industry, covering projected market growth and statistics for colocation markets in key European cities.

The uncertainty of Brexit was given as a parallel to the uncertainty for end users and the pain points they experience when faced with ambiguity due to lack of data, data centre downtime and delays in deployment. The overriding message was that by building flexibility into the planning and design of data centres, it provides users the ability to offset the challenges and enables them to be responsive to the demands placed upon them.

Less than a week later, Geist was exhibiting at the DCD Converged event at Old Billingsgate Market in London. All Geist products were showcased, with a special focus on its range of power products. Manufactured in the UK, 90 per cent of Geist’s orders are fulfilled within three weeks, with many of its PDUs delivered in as few as three days.
