Scott will draw on his wealth of experience managing fast growing technology companies to spearhead Code42’s growth in the region.
‘The recent Brexit vote means organisations in the UK and Ireland face even greater scrutiny about how they protect their data,’ said Joe Payne, president and CEO of Code42. ‘Nic and the team he is building will help customers meet this challenge by delivering the tools they need to protect, secure and recover end user data.’
Nic Scott (pictured), said, ‘The breadth of Code42’s solution and its ability to protect organisations, alongside its impressive relationship led customer base, drew me to the company. My career to date has afforded me valuable insight into identifying what an agile company like Code42 needs to grow and remain successful. I look forward to working with local customers like Key Forensics and VAX to help them meet their evolving data security challenges.’
Scott brings over two decades of IT industry experience to his role as managing director. He will be responsible for setting the strategy and accelerating Code42’s expansion in the region by developing new enterprise class relationships, optimising channel partnerships and driving strategic sales, marketing and operational initiatives.
Prior to joining Code42, Scott held senior business management and development roles at a number of leading global organisations and fast growing technology companies.
