Commvault and Pure Storage gear up for charity cycling challenge

On 20th July 2016, 30 riders from Commvault and 13 riders from Pure Storage will join forces to cycle 275 miles to the French capital over four days in a bid to raise £64,500 for the UK-wide children’s charity.

Workers from as far afield as the US, Israel and Dubai are joining Commvault colleagues from Reading to tackle the challenge, with Pure Storage colleagues taking part from the UK.

‘Commvault has been taking part in the London to Paris bike ride for the past two years because it such a win/win. Commvault riders get an ambitious goal to aim for and Action Medical Research gets the much needed funds for pioneering treatment,’ said Susie Andrew, EMEA HR director. ‘This year we are thrilled to be joined by our partner Pure Storage to further this momentum and hope together we can beat last year’s fundraising achievement.’

Action Medical Research is currently funding research into meningitis, Down syndrome, epilepsy and premature birth, as well as some rare and distressing conditions that severely affect children.
