Gyrcocom picks up Specialist Partner of the Year in VMware partner recognition dinner for its software defined network projects with NSX


In the past year Gyrocom has generated orders to the value of US$1m as its clients are quickly recognising the business benefits of adopting a software defined network (SDN) solution.

Over the last four years Gyrocom has invested heavily in both technical and sales training to develop a credible delivery capability around the NSX technology.
In a recent project working with client London Capital Group (LCG), Gyrocom was able to deploy a solution based on VMware’s NSX in an incredibly short time frame replacing legacy IT with a reliable, agile and secure network for the launch of LCG’s new online trading platform.

Earlier this week VMware said its software defined data centre technologies, particularly its NSX software defined networking and VSAN software defined storage, helped it beat Wall Street’s profit and revenue forecast during its fiscal second quarter. Sales of licenses for NSX more than doubled in the second quarter of 2016 year-on-year and there are now 1,700 customers using this technology.

Now in their sixth year VMware’s Annual Partner Recognition Dinners recognise the best of the best in UK&I across nine partner categories.
