The award, which was presented at Huawei’s prestigious Network and Energy Conference in Frankfurt, recognises the commitment and diligence demonstrated by PCL.
Since becoming a Value Added Partner for Huawei earlier this year, PCL has already installed over 2MVA of final load UPS across a multitude of industry sectors including colocation data centres, wholesalers and building and construction. The company is also in discussions with a prestigious financial institution, a large colocation data centre and a renowned British car manufacturing and aero-engine manufacturing company.
PCL’s sales director, Rob Mather (pictured second from left), who accepted the award on behalf of the company said, ‘It is very humbling to have been recognised as a valuable partner by such an esteemed organisation. The modular technologies from Huawei have been incredibly well received in the UK and we have some excellent opportunities in the pipeline. As we saw during the conference in Frankfurt, Huawei is extremely forward thinking and is wholly dedicated to continuous design and innovation, which places its UPS products at the cutting edge of emergency power solutions.’
The relationship between PCL and Huawei has gone from strength to strength and the collaborative partnership has already shown huge dividends. Huawei’s account manager for data centre infrastructure, James Coughlan, said, ‘We have been really impressed with PCL’s professionalism and tenacity in identifying new opportunities and securing new business. PCL has far exceeded our expectations in raising the profile of the Huawei UPS5000-E series and we remain confident that PCL is the best UPS specialist to position it at the forefront of the UK marketplace.’
