Custodian expands to create four new data floors

With 150,000ft2 to develop at its flagship site and data floors in Surrey, London Docklands and London City, Custodian is challenging the perceived skills shortage of data centre qualified staff in order to recruit the very best in colocation personnel.

Talking about the expansion, technical director Robert Williams explained, ‘As a team we work closely as a unit and constantly challenge each other to do things better. Our recruitment strategy is to find people who not only do what they do well, but have the drive and commitment to develop their skills further.’

Custodian Data Centre is investing heavily into its infrastructure, utilising the latest building and technological advances in the development of its new data floors. With the current team ranging from specialists in the fields of networks, cooling, open source programme development and power to individuals whose cabling skills are a thing of beauty, the company is conducting a wide search to find the best NOC engineers in the industry to join its team.
