This year’s event is taking place at the University of Manchester on Tuesday 14th July, and is being held in conjunction with the Data Centre Alliance and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Leeds.
Dr Jon Summers of the University of Leeds, the Conference chair, will give an opening presentation – Can Digital Demand outstrip Physical Limits? in which he will examine the possibilities and possible limits for the data centre in the year 2048. There will also be Technology Focus sessions from the Conference sponsors, to date: Dataracks, Emerson Network Power, Hillstone Loadbanks, Riello UPS, Solar Cool Heating and Cooling, StarLine Track Busway and ZPAS Group.
The overall objective of DataCentre Manchester 2015 is to reflect the ongoing need for the facilities and IT functions to join together to ensure the optimum data centre environment that can best serve the enterprise’s business requirements.
