Huawei announced that the recent testing of its blade server FusionServer E9000 has set three world records. The tests measured the performance of E9000 based on Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 CPU that features the newest 14nm process. This latest CPU provides up to 22 cores and delivers 20 per cent higher performance than its predecessor E5-2600 v3.

Huawei’s two socket blade server FusionServer E9000 CH121 V3 underwent SPEC CPU2006 testing to break three blade server world records. The scores were 74, 1,790, and 1,120 in the SPECint_base2006, SPECint_rate_base2006, and SPECfp_rate_base2006 test cases respectively.

Zhang Xiaohua, general manager of Huawei Blade Servers, commented, ‘Enterprises demand efficient and stable computing platforms to support their rapid development. Huawei’s blade servers have repeatedly set new records in the industry’s most authoritative SPEC tests, proving Huawei’s powerful server development capabilities.’
