New Internal Evaporative Coolers From EcoCooling

EcoCooling has developed a new range of internal evaporative coolers for data centres which provide a coefficient of performance of 60 and PUEs of under 1.2. These have been designed for data centres that cannot or do now want to have plant and equipment on the outside of their building.

Manufactured in the UK by EcoCooling, the ECT range of coolers are the first internal, modular and space efficient direct evaporative cooler of their kind.

Those likely to benefit most from the new ECT units are existing data centres. The drive for energy efficiency is relentless and operating costs or external drivers such as government targets or ESOS surveys are demanding more and more efficiency. Existing data centres in the public sector are being pushed to find an alternative to air conditioning, so evaporative cooling units that can be easily retrofitted are a great solution.

In many cases the cost of retrofitting external equipment can be prohibitive and many buildings are not suitable for conventional ducted ventilation systems, so an internal unit is exactly what they require.

EcoCooling will be showcasing its new products at DCW 2017, stand N35.
